We're Hiring: Director, Engineering Maintenance & ReliabilityIndustry: Food Manufacturing / Consumer Packaged GoodsEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleMother Parkers is seeking a visionary Director, Engineering Maintenance & Reliability to provide enterprise-wide leadership for engineering, maintenance, reliability, automation, technical services, and capital management across its North American operations.Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, this executive leadership role will drive engineering strategy, maintenance excellence, capital governance, operational reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance asset performance, operational resilience, and business growth.The successful candidate will be a strategic leader capable of transforming operations through standardization, best practices, technology adoption, and world-class asset management programs.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the overall Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability, Automation, and Technical Services strategy across North American operationsDevelop and execute enterprise-wide Maintenance Excellence and Reliability programsLead North American capital planning, governance, budgeting, and project portfolio managementChair the Maintenance Excellence Advisory Council and drive organizational alignmentOversee major engineering programs and strategic capital investmentsStandardize engineering, reliability, and maintenance practices across all manufacturing sitesDrive a proactive culture focused on asset management, reliability, and operational excellenceManage strategic relationships with contractors, engineering firms, and equipment suppliersEvaluate and prioritize capital projects to support growth, capacity, safety, and operational improvement objectivesCollaborate with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, and Plant Leadership teamsMonitor capital spending,



project execution, and portfolio performanceDevelop and mentor engineering and maintenance leaders across the organizationEnsure compliance with safety, food safety, quality, and regulatory requirementsChampion continuous improvement, standardization, and best-practice sharing across the businessQualifications15+ years of progressive leadership experience in engineering, maintenance, reliability, and manufacturing operationsSignificant experience within food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, or related industriesProven track record leading large-scale capital programs and operational transformation initiativesStrong experience in asset management, maintenance excellence, reliability engineering, and automationDeep understanding of CMMS/EAM systems, ERP platforms, and manufacturing technologiesDemonstrated success building and leading high-performing teamsStrong financial acumen, capital planning, and budget management experienceExceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management skillsStrong understanding of GMP, food safety, regulatory, environmental, and health & safety requirementsWhy This RoleThis is a career-defining chance to lead engineering and reliability strategy for a complex, multi-site manufacturing organization.
