The Zajac Ranch Dishwasher reports to the Chef/Kitchen Manager and plays a crucial role in maintaining hygiene in the dining hall. This seasonal, part-time position involves cleaning dishware, utensils, and equipment for groups ranging from 20 to 120 people. Experience in food safety and a commitment to cleanliness are essential in this agile, camp environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining hall and washrooms
• Assist the Chef with food preparation as needed
• Ensure proper operation of kitchen cleaning equipment
• Follow all safety protocols and report hazards
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of dishwashing experience
• Safety certificates in food handling preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina for lifting and standing
