Saskatchewan Polytechnic seeks a dedicated Practice Education Instructor to enhance nursing training in Regina. This part-time position focuses on teaching nursing students in practical lab and clinical settings.
In this impactful role, you will coach and assess students' performance and contribute to curriculum development. Engage in networking across various skilled stakeholders and ensure that your teaching aligns with Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s commitment to equity and inclusion.
Strong facilitation skills and experience in adult education are essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach and evaluate nursing students in both lab and clinical environments
Provide constructive feedback on student evaluations
Contribute to curriculum development and revisions
Participate in skilled and program activities
Required travel for educational engagements and workshops
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
Eligibility for registration as a registered nurse in Saskatchewan
At least two years of nursing experience
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to value diversity in an educational context
Help shape competent nursing specialists through effective instruction at Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
