This permanent full-time position within the MHA EZ Mental Health Emergency/Crisis department involves direct service to clients managing mental health and substance use issues. You will leverage evidence-based therapies to guide your practice and will contribute to a supportive, collaborative environment. Engaging with families and understanding diverse needs are crucial to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess client needs and create personalized care plans • Deliver crisis intervention and risk assessment services • Facilitate therapy sessions both individually and in groups • Work with families to ensure informed care participation • Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives
Requirements: • Master’s degree in a relevant clinical discipline • Proven experience in mental health settings • Must be registered with a provincial regulatory body • Robust skills in crisis management • Excellent communication abilities
