Our client has an immediate prospect for Electricians to join their team.

Wage: $42/hr

Shift: Day and Afternoons Shift available

Responsibilities:

- Reporting to the Sawmill Electrical Supervisor, you are required to safely perform quality work within the scope of the trade as it pertains to.
- Ensure that all site electrical systems are maintained in good working order in an effort to maximize the efficiency of mill equipment.
- Installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electric motors, scanners, drives, sensors, and PLC’s on equipment used in the sawmill process.
- Responsible for the safe maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment.
- Assist mechanical repairs as needed.
- Preparation of equipment for upgrades.
- Assist production personnel with any electrical problems.
- Ability to function well under pressure.

Qualifications

- Commitment to working safely coupled with strong communication & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Previous experience as an Electrician is required.
- Flexible schedule to meet the production requirements of the site.
- Knowledge and experience in manufacturing operations.
