Become a pivotal member of RBC’s Procurement Legal Team as Counsel. Focus on technology transactions, SaaS agreements, and intellectual property licensing for Royal Bank of Canada and its subsidiaries.
In this full time role in Toronto, you will offer legal advice on complex third-party transactions encompassing technology and non-technology products. Your insights will support business functions in navigating contract negotiation, drafting, and risk assessment. You'll provide training on legal templates and refine RBC’s contract templates for improved efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on structuring complex third-party transactions
• Provide strategic legal support for contract negotiation




• Interpret contracts and assess legal risks
• Train partners on legal issues and templates
• Assist with special projects as needed
Requirements:
• Law degree (LLB or JD) from recognized school
• Over 3 years in corporate commercial contract law
• Strong knowledge of third-party commercial laws
• Proven ability to analyze legal risk contextually
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
