In this hands-on role, you will lead the mechanical design of vital modules for our research platform. This position requires a B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on component selection, tolerances, and manufacturability. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive continuous improvement in design processes and deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own mechanical design from concept to production release • Generate and maintain SolidWorks assemblies and drawings • Lead design reviews and produce technical artifacts • Build and test hardware prototypes with the R&D; team • Execute verification and validation testing for designs
Requirements: • 5+ years of mechanical design experience • Proficiency in SolidWorks and GD&T; • Experience with manufacturability and common fabrication processes • Strong communication and documentation skills • Hands-on experience with prototype hardware
