Join Calvin University as a part time Men's Lacrosse Assistant Coach. Focus on coaching, recruiting, and team development within a flexible schedule including evenings.
This role will assist in teaching crucial lacrosse skills and support both practice sessions and recruitment initiatives. You will also be involved in team-building activities and NCAA compliance to build a strong athletic program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the head coach on skill teaching
• Assist during practice, scrimmages, and team meetings
• Help in recruiting and retaining qualified student-athletes
• Organize and supervise fundraising and clinics
• Participate in game management after the fall season
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree and 1-3 years coaching experience preferred
• Experience as a collegiate student-athlete is a bonus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Must be First Aid/CPR/AED Certified or willing to obtain certification
• Must have a valid driver’s license
