This position requires expertise in acute care and community health nursing. You will create and maintain care plans, adapting your skills to diverse home and community settings. With responsibilities including evaluating care needs and initiating referrals, you will impact the health of acutely, chronically, and terminally ill clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct advanced nursing assessments for clients' care needs
• Develop and maintain customized care plans
• Communicate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams
• Adapt nursing skills to home and community environments
• Prioritize and organize workload efficiently
Requirements:
• Active RN or LPN registration in Manitoba
• Two years of experience in home care nursing
• Knowledge of First Nations culture is an asset
• Valid Manitoba Driver's License required
• Certifications in BLS/CPR and wound care preferred
