Take a leadership role in promoting product quality, employeedevelopment,and cost reduction initiatives.
Supervise the materials production area, scheduling,logistics/ customerserviceand inventory control functions, ensuring that materials and services areprocuredin a timely mannerat the lowest possible prices withoutimpactingquality, performance, or customer service.
Implement andmaintaineffective controls for all areas of responsibility.
Provideslong-termproduction and inventory plans that ensureoptimalutilizationof capacity and assets.
Establishandmaintaineffective internal and external customer relationships
Identifyand implement cost reduction/ avoidance opportunities.
Manage the flow of raw packaging materials and supplies coming into the facility and the processes and systems to efficiently manage the material flow.
Manage departmental expenses to meetbudget. Work with departmentemployeeto create cost reduction projects.
Establish and maintain 5S system. Work with supervisors and hourly employees to ensure plant housekeeping meets orexceedsstandards.

Demonstratedability to prioritize and organizeobjectivesand targets to meet deadlines.
