The Archaeology team at Stantec is seeking seasonal Field Laborers/Technicians for the busy 2026 archaeology field season. You will undertake physically demanding outdoor tasks and travel across Ontario, working alongside licensed archaeologists. Your role is crucial in delivering high-quality archaeological services that meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Stage 2-4 archaeological fieldwork under direction
• Engage in site excavations and artifact documentation
• Perform test pit and pedestrian surveys in varying weather




• Follow safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance
• Work collaboratively with Indigenous communities on projects

Requirements:
• Physically fit and experienced in demanding fieldwork
• Ability to travel within Ontario for overnight work
• Full G driver’s license in positive standing preferred
• Capable of excellent teamwork and independent work
• Openness to learning new skills and adapting
