Kinetic Environmental Ltd. is hiring an Abatement Technician for asbestos and mould projects on Vancouver Island. This physically intensive role involves using various tools for site work.

In this position, you will work on challenging abatement and demolition projects at commercial and institutional sites. Safety is paramount, and you will be trained in secure practices and tool operation. Ideal candidates will be curious and eager to learn while working safely as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Follow stringent safe work practices on-site
• Organize and prioritize daily tasks effectively
• Use hand tools and power tools safely
• Perform a variety of routine trade activities
• Work with scaffolding and access equipment

Requirements:
• Level 2 Asbestos Safety Training preferred
• Training offered for those without abatement experience
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
• Safe operation of necessary tools and equipment
• Competence in selecting appropriate tools for tasks
