Champion child and family welfare as a Family Advocate Worker with the Lac La Ronge Indian Band. Contribute to community well-being through comprehensive support services.

This full time role, based out of Hall Lake, SK, reports to the Prevention Coordinator and emphasizes child safety and family unity. Ideal candidates will possess strong organizational skills and cultural sensitivity to connect effectively with high-risk families. Responsibilities will include offering crisis intervention services and cultural activities tailored to promote child welfare.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead cultural and recreational programs for at-risk youth
• Provide family counseling and mediation services
• Coordinate group support initiatives
• Document and manage child protection matters
• Engage in addictions counseling and treatment

Requirements:
• Degree in Social Work or similar
• 2 years working with Indigenous populations
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Ability to pass background checks
