Make an impact as an Assistant Manager in the District of Saanich's Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department. Lead innovative services that enrich community connections and quality of life.

This permanent, full-time position requires a progressive leader to support and manage the Community Services Division. Engage in key aspects such as program development, budget management, and staff leadership, aiming to enhance the lives of residents of all backgrounds. You will actively contribute to community engagement through strong partnerships and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage services for youth, seniors, and arts programs
• Provide leadership in operational areas and staff development
• Collaborate with community partners for effective outreach




• Assist in planning and monitoring departmental budgets
• Foster a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement

Requirements:
• Four-year degree in Community Development or related field
• At least four years of experience in community service
• Two years in a supervisory capacity preferred
• Strong skills in communication and collaboration
• Familiarity with local government operations beneficial
