Support individuals transitioning from incarceration as a Residential Facility Support Worker at The Salvation Army in Victoria. This role focuses on client empowerment and community integration.
In this essential role within the Community-Based Residential Facility, you will facilitate the successful reintegration of parolees into society. Key tasks involve monitoring their compliance with rules, ensuring secure access to the facility, and collaborating with case management teams to address residents' needs. You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining safety and dignity while aligning with The Salvation Army’s core mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular security rounds and bed checks
• Maintain accurate resident documentation and logs
• Ensure adherence to CRF policies and procedures
• Assist with transportation as directed by management
• Engage in mandatory training and team meetings
Requirements:
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience needed
• Possess First Aid and CPR certifications
• Transparent Criminal Records Check required
• Class 5 driver's license favorable
