Veeda AI is looking for a Member of Technical Staff in Robotics to enhance simulation processes and bridge the sim-to-real gap. This role also focuses on data collection for Physical AI advancements.

In this position at Veeda AI, you will be pivotal in driving the robotics initiative as a simulation specialist. Responsibilities include becoming the product owner of simulation tools, performing sim-to-real experiments, and managing teleoperation for data collection. Utilize your knowledge of Python and robotic software stacks to facilitate communication with team members and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize simulation tools for effective (post)training of robotic policies
• Measure and analyze sim-to-real transfer efficiency
• Develop and operate demonstration data collection rigs




• Interface with robotics experts and communicate key findings
• Translate machine learning concepts into actionable robotics tasks

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Robotics or Engineering
• Proven experience with simulation training and hardware deployment
• Solid skills in Python, PyTorch, and ROS 2
• Experience designing real-world experiments
• Willingness to travel for hands-on robot calibration
