Job Description: Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions
Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations
Perform consultations, follow‑up visits, and routine outpatient evaluations
Provide inpatient GI consult support and rounding as needed
Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic test results
Develop and implement evidence‑based treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians




Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, treatment options, and preventive care
Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary services
Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice development efforts
Qualifications APRN Requirements Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Current Florida APRN license or eligibility for licensure
National board certification as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult‑Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP)
Current BLS certification
