In this position, you will create and coordinate activities that help children and their families cope with hospitalization. Your responsibilities include assessing needs, developing therapeutic play programs, and facilitating group interventions aimed at enhancing resilience. You will also prepare children for medical procedures, equipping them with coping strategies for a smoother healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and evaluate age-appropriate play interventions
• Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs




• Implement group and individual therapeutic sessions
• Use play to prepare children for medical procedures
• Organize special events to uplift hospital atmosphere

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Child Life, Education, or similar
• Child Life Specialist Certification required
• Pediatric experience preferred (ages 0-17)
• Effective communication skills with families
• Background check clearance needed
