Join CASA Mental Health in Red Deer as a School-Based Mental Health Nurse. Deliver culturally protected services while working in schools to support children and their families.

This full-time position utilizes your nursing skills within the CASA Mental Health Classrooms Program, where you'll provide assessments, therapy, and medication management closely integrated with educational environments. Collaborate with professionals to address individual mental health needs, fostering a supportive framework that promotes resilience and well-being in students. Your role is key to making a significant impact on young lives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and document mental health status and risks
• Develop and implement individualized care plans




• Facilitate therapeutic education and support groups
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans
• Record findings in patient health records

Requirements:
• Minimum three to five years experience in pediatric care
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Active member of Alberta nursing organizations
• Familiarity with applicable privacy laws
• Driver’s license and access to a vehicle
