Convergint is seeking a Building Operator with a 4th Class Power Engineering certificate for the Suncor Firebag In-Situ site. This position offers a rotating FIFO schedule with accommodations.

In this role, you will conduct inspections, maintain building systems, and ensure safe operation of HVAC facilities. Your ability to interact with building occupants and address service requests promptly will contribute to the organization’s service excellence. Additionally, your involvement in safety meetings and compliance inspections will uphold the high standards of the work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform building walkthroughs and address maintenance needs
• Communicate efficiently with occupants regarding services
• Log equipment readings and maintain compliance records




• Coordinate emergency responses and routine maintenance
• Collaborate on safety and operational training programs

Requirements:
• Completion of a 4th Class Power Engineering certification
• 5+ years of Building Operator experience in industrial settings
• Solid skills in identifying and solving building issues
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
