North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services seeks a Children’s Services Assessment Worker in Kirkland Lake for a one-year contract. This role emphasizes preventative and protective service delivery to families and children.

You'll be responsible for conducting risk assessments, formulating protection plans, and ensuring comprehensive documentation as part of your duties. The ideal candidate will have solid communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with families and stakeholders while adapting to flexible hours and travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver child protection and preventative services
• Complete risk assessments and documentation
• Develop and execute protection plans for families




• Apply relevant legislation and organizational policies
• Work flexible hours and travel as necessary

Requirements:
• MSW or BSW preferred, consider relevant experience
• Background in child and family services is advantageous
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Hold a minimum G2 driver’s license
• Bilingual English/French candidates preferred
