Become a key member of Brightwater as a Maintenance Technician in Winnipeg, where you will ensure our community remains secure and welcoming for all residents. Your role will include various maintenance responsibilities focused on resident comfort.
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll work under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager, enhancing building conditions through your expertise in maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, and routine inspections to quickly resolve any issues that arise. You'll help create an enriching atmosphere by supporting general maintenance and cleaning procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee maintenance tasks for common areas and resident spaces
• Carry out inspections and address maintenance challenges
• Ensure compliance with preventative maintenance protocols
• Assist in scheduled deep cleaning with housekeeping
• Conduct equipment inspections and secure storage
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent necessary
• Two years of direct maintenance experience required
• Proficient in construction and maintenance tool usage
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
• Hold any required professional certifications
