Thank you for your interest in supporting the 2026 Election with the Town of Penetanguishene. The Town of Penetanguishene is recruiting for the following Election Positions:

Mobile Revision/Ballot Officer - Institutional Voting ($175 per shift)

Greet and assist electors who are coming into the voting location to vote

Issue written oaths of qualification to voters if identification is insufficient

Use electronic voter’s list software to search for and add individuals to the voter’s list and/or revise their information

Select appropriate ballot and provide to voter in secrecy folder

Use electronic voter’s list software to mark voter as voted

Direct voter to voting station and Tabulation box

Support the voting location team with setting up, opening and closing the voting location

Greet and assist electors who are coming into the voting location to vote

Confirm voters have acceptable identification to present to the Revision/Ballot Officer

Direct voters to the Revision or Ballot Officer

Assist the voting location team with tasks as needed, including setting up, opening and closing the voting location





Issue written oaths of qualification to voters if identification is insufficient

Assist voters in the completion of an application to amend the voters’ list

Use electronic voter’s list software to search for and add individuals to the voter’s list and/or revise their information

Direct voters’ to the Ballot Officer

Complete necessary paperwork

Support the voting location team with setting up, opening and closing the voting location

Select appropriate ballot and provide to voter in secrecy folder

Use electronic voter’s list software to mark voter as voted

Direct voter to voting station and Tabulation Officer

Support the voting location team with setting up, opening and closing the voting location

Operate a vote tabulator

Assist with setting up, opening and closing the voting location

Receive ballots from voters and feed ballots into the tabulator

Instruct people on the use of accessibility voting equipment

Troubleshoot tabulator issues

Support the voting location team with setting up, opening and closing the voting location
