Reporting to the Manager of Water, the Supervisor oversees Lakeshore's Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection systems. This position requires a strong understanding of regulations and infrastructure management, including the Safety Drinking Water Act.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily operations of water distribution and collection systems
- Provide leadership to staff, fostering a respectful environment
- Act as Overall Responsible Operator for compliance and safety




- Establish preventative maintenance programs for all facilities
- Develop emergency response plans and participate in inspections

Requirements:

- Community College Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology
- Ontario Class 3 Water Distribution & Class 2 Wastewater Collection Operator’s Certificates
- 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience
- Familiarity with Ontario’s Drinking Water Quality Management Standard
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SCADA systems
