In this role within WSP's Transportation & Infrastructure team, you will engage in designing transportation systems that improve safety and connectivity in Nova Scotia. This intermediate position calls for strong engineering skills in roadway and intersection design, supporting both public and private sector projects. You’ll play a pivotal role in drafting and reviewing technical designs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the design of active transportation and roadway projects
• Prepare comprehensive design drawings and specifications
• Utilize engineering standards to create protected and constructible designs
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure project quality
• Advise on access and circulation improvements for site plans
Requirements:
• Civil Engineering degree or related certification
• Eligible for Professional Engineer status in Nova Scotia
• At least 5 years of transportation engineering experience
• Expertise in design software like AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Strong project management and interpersonal skills
