Make a difference in the lives of seniors at GEF Seniors Housing as a full-time Coordinator for Resident Wellness in Edmonton. Implement and promote engaging activities that enhance community and wellness.

Reporting to the Life Enrichment Supervisor, the Activity & Wellness Coordinator (AWC) is essential in promoting wellness and engagement among seniors. This role requires a diploma or degree in recreation or a related field, and 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred. The AWC will evaluate community needs and develop meaningful programs that foster resident satisfaction and joy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate programming to enhance resident wellness
• Build community relationships with volunteers and seniors




• Assess and implement tailored activities for resident engagement
• Promote diverse wellness initiatives and events
• Manage other tasks assigned by the Life Enrichment Supervisor

Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in recreational studies or similar
• 1-2 years’ experience in program planning desired
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Robust skills in Microsoft Office applications
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
