As an integral part of Wiikwemkoong Child and Family Services, you will oversee critical program initiatives and manage a team dedicated to compliance and effective service delivery. Your robust understanding of Ojibway culture and social services within First Nations is essential for this role. Collaborate with stakeholders, supervise staff, and maintain community-focused relationships to ensure success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement annual service plans and programs
• Conduct performance evaluations for staff
• Maintain program adherence to policies
• Prepare briefing notes and data reports
• Engage in community planning and meetings
Requirements:
• Preferred related degree in social work
• 5 years’ experience in a First Nation community
• 3 years’ management experience
• Knowledge of child welfare systems
• Valid driver’s license and First Aid/CPR certification
