In this position, you will support SkilledTradesBC’s mission by ensuring compliance with the Skilled Trades BC Act while fostering relationships with apprentices, sponsors, and employers. Your expertise in advisory roles will guide stakeholders in navigating the apprenticeship system, ensuring all regulations are comprehended and honored effectively. Outstanding communication and independent judgment are key components of this essential role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Foster stakeholder relationships and promote trade regulations
• Conduct compliance-related inspections and audits




• Maintain accurate databases for compliance tracking
• Provide public education workshops on trade certification
• Assist clients in understanding their legislative responsibilities

Requirements:
• Minimum post-secondary education or trades certification
• Familiarity with apprenticeship systems and regulations
• Strong administrative and analytical skills
• Proven experience in mentoring or training roles
• Valid BC driver's license to accommodate travel
