Embark on a software development internship focused on lighting systems with General Motors. This hybrid role allows you to utilize your coding skills in the automotive sector.
GM is looking for an intern to integrate into its Agile Scrum team, designing and testing lighting software for all vehicles globally. Participate in a creative, cooperative environment while working on essential features that enhance the driving experience. This role includes hands-on development experiences within a team committed to excellence in embedded systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Product Managers and fellow developers
• Implement lighting features using Behavior-Driven and Test-Driven Development
• Design and integrate complex systems in hand-coded C
• Execute automated tests and Validate system requirements
• Engage in Agile processes and ceremonies
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Computer Engineering or related areas
• Available for 40-hour work weeks, 12-16 months
• Must meet co-op program eligibility and work legally in Canada
• Strong ownership and initiative skills required
• Knowledge of embedded controls preferred
Contribute to innovative automotive technology at General Motors through software development and testing.
