Become an Archaeology Field Technician at AECOM in London, Ontario. We are seeking dedicated individuals for Levels I to IV to support archaeological fieldwork and training objectives.

This full-time position offers a unique prospect to work on archaeological field projects across Ontario. Under the guidance of a Field Supervisor, technicians will recover artifacts and assist in team leadership. Ideal candidates will thrive in varied outdoor conditions and travel extensively for fieldwork.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct archaeological fieldwork under a Field Supervisor's guidance
• Identify and recover Indigenous and Euro-Canadian artifacts
• Adhere to Health and Safety protocols and AECOM procedures
• Travel extensively across Ontario for extended periods




• Assist in training and support Field Supervisor with technical tasks

Requirements:
• High school diploma required; Level II+ needs relevant experience
• Physical ability for demanding fieldwork, lifting up to 40lbs
• Effective communication skills for site-related issues
• Timely attendance and preparedness for varying weather conditions
• Respect for Indigenous culture and sensitivity required
