The District Indigenous Support Worker position for the Seaton Family of Schools is a temporary part time role designed to support Indigenous students through enhanced learning experiences. You'll work closely with students in academics, while also fostering their cultural identity and self-esteem through a respectful relationship.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individualized academic support to Indigenous students
• Prepare specialized materials for diverse learning needs




• Organize cultural activities that promote Indigenous heritage
• Assist on field trips and special initiatives
• Instill positive school attitudes and self-esteem in students

Requirements:
• Completion of an education assistant program or equivalent
• Proven experience with Indigenous youth
• Insight into local Indigenous cultures
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and trust
