Reporting to the Culinary Manager, the Cook will oversee the preparation and delivery of meals to residents and guests within Cogir's retirement residences. This role requires attention to hygiene, food handling processes, and the ability to prepare specialty diets. You will also take part in enhancing the dining experience during special events and theme days.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver meals in accordance with dietary needs
• Review production sheets before meal service
• Conduct temperature checks and maintenance audits
• Prepare specialty diets per menu plans
• Adhere to safety and health regulations

Requirements:
• Valid Food Handler's Certificate required
• Red Seal Certificate preferred
• Experience in large volume food prep required
• Knowledge of food safety and regulations necessary
• Must be able to lift heavy items
