As a Band 2 leader in this role, you will coordinate engagement strategies that promote transparency and accessibility for diverse audiences. Your expertise will guide a team of communication specialists, enhancing public involvement in decision-making. You’ll balance strategic oversight with hands-on engagement to effectively relay key messages from the Islands Trust.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage comprehensive communication plans
• Support decision-making processes through public input
• Advise stakeholders on engagement strategies




• Coordinate multi-channel communication efforts
• Engage with Indigenous organizations and communities

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Communications or PR
• Minimum three years leading communication initiatives
• Experience in public sector issues management
• Proven ability in public engagement practices
• BC Class 5 Driver's Licence mandatory
