The Ministry of Children and Family Services is searching for a dedicated Practice Specialist to improve child intervention practices in Northern Alberta. This role involves leading quality assurance initiatives and providing coaching to enhance the capabilities of staff. You'll play a significant part in supporting complex casework and promoting collaboration with Indigenous communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive implementation of child intervention practice initiatives
• Provide training and mentorship to support staff
• Collaborate with leaders to identify practice gaps
• Champion culturally responsive practice approaches
• Share knowledge to facilitate effective service delivery
Requirements:
• 2+ years experience in Child Welfare or related field
• Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of child intervention frameworks
• Strong facilitation and consultation skills
• Valid driver's license required for travel
