You will report to the Environmental Services Manager and play a vital role in ensuring that all residents’ personal items are cared for according to industry standards. Essential tasks include laundry operations and safety compliance, guided by the values of empathy and kindness. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute laundry tasks such as washing, drying, and delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards
• Engage residents in participating in domestic living tasks
• Report any safety or risk issues without delay
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff

Requirements:
• Proficient communication skills in oral and written formats
• CPR & First Aid Certification is a plus
• Familiarity with the Retirement Homes Act
• Previous relevant work experience preferred
• Must pass a recent vulnerable sector screen
