Be a vital part of CMHA-S/M's addiction treatment efforts as a full-time Addiction Specialist. Provide crucial therapeutic interventions and support within a residential program framework.

This permanent role requires you to engage deeply with residents, performing assessments and implementing individualized treatment approaches. The Addiction Specialist will deliver both individual and group counseling while working as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Flexibility in work hours will be necessary to meet program needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess residents’ needs to inform treatment plans
• Deliver tailored individual and group counseling
• Coordinate care management and discharge planning




• Collaborate with diverse team members to ensure comprehensive care
• Promote recovery-oriented approaches in treatment

Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in social services or health disciplines
• Minimum 1 year experience in addiction services
• Registration or pathway to registration with a skilled body
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Fluent in English, advanced French is advantageous
