The Society of United Professionals is now hiring for two dedicated Labour Relations Staff Officers. This position is crucial in advising members, managing arbitration cases, and executing initiatives to advance membership engagement. The right candidate will have considerable experience in various labour relations aspects, such as grievance handling and organizing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise and support members in labour relations matters
• Collaborate with local officers for effective employer engagement
• Develop and lead Society campaign initiatives and support efforts
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Laws or equivalent experience preferred
• At least five years in a related labour relations role
• Familiarity with legal issues related to pay equity and health benefits
• Proven ability to write clearly and effectively
• Robust interpersonal and time management skills
