Grimsby Power invites applications for an experienced Journeyperson Powerline Technician to contribute to secure and reliable energy delivery in Grimsby. This position combines technical expertise with outdoor working conditions.

Grimsby Power serves over 12,000 customers, focusing on delivering economical energy solutions. The successful candidate will have robust mechanical skills and knowledge of electrical distribution systems. The role requires the ability to communicate effectively with the public and manage emergency on-call situations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and construct both overhead and underground systems
• Interpret technical diagrams and specifications
• Climb, lift, and manage physical tasks outdoors




• Respond promptly to outages and emergencies
• Engage with customers courteously

Requirements:
• Journeyperson Powerline Technician certification (434A)
• Valid Class 'AZ' or 'DZ' driving license
• High school diploma required; electrical diploma is a plus
• Consideration for progressing fourth-year apprentices
• Ability to perform in outdoor working environments
