Join Tacten in Kitimat as a Rope Access Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician focused on LNG systems. Your calibration and diagnostic skills will ensure safe, efficient operations in a complex industrial setting.

This vital role at Tacten revolves around supporting the Marine Loading Arms project with your expertise in instrumentation technology. You will calibrate and verify critical process controls on LNG storage tanks, troubleshoot DCS and PLC systems, and guarantee compliance with safety standards. Relocation and training support available!

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure accuracy of pressure and temperature transmitters
• Troubleshoot signal issues in control systems
• Regularly inspect and service instrumentation




• Assist in commissioning and testing new systems
• Keep detailed logs per site and regulatory procedures

Requirements:
• Certified Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician
• IRATA Rope Access certification preferred
• Solid background in industrial automation
• Familiarity with various control systems
• Ability to interpret P&ID; and circuit diagrams
