As a part of a Continuing Contract Position with Special Responsibility, you will lead efforts in program planning and community support access for students with diverse educational needs. This role demands expertise in educational psychology and a cooperative spirit to coach staff on inclusive practices and optimize resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop collaborations with external educational services
• Assist in creating Individual Education Plans
• Provide diagnostic and interpretive mental health services
• Manage specialized program placements effectively
• Lead professional development for district staff on inclusion
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree or PhD in Educational Psychology
• Required Level C Assessment coursework
• Must meet British Columbia School Psychologist Association standards
• Ability to promote system-wide changes for educational success
• Advocate for early intervention methods in teaching
