The City of Terrace is hiring a Planner to support our Development Services department. Depending on your experience, you will either serve as a Planner II or III, reviewing and managing various municipal applications and policies. This role calls for a solid foundation in urban planning principles and excellent communication skills to interact with the public and local stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review and assess development applications and bylaws
• Provide regulatory guidance to stakeholders




• Collaborate with city departments on land use policies
• Investigate and report on planning projects
• Attend required meetings, including evenings

Requirements:
• Degree in Urban & Regional Planning or related field
• 3 years (II) or 5-7 years (III) of relevant experience
• Strong planning and project management skills
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver's Licence
