JOB DESCRIPTION Be Part of the Valcartier Cadet Camp Adventure
Position: Dishwasher
Location: Valcartier Base
Salary: Starting at $18.25/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time and part-time positions available
Start Date: June–July–August (summer season)
Public transportation does not reach the base; you must arrange your own transportation to the military base. Carpooling may be possible following hiring.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Wash, transport, and store dishes
Perform cleaning duties
Clean countertops and surrounding work areas, sweep and mop the service area, kitchen, and workstation
Assist with the maintenance of the kitchen and equipment
Clean tables
Ensure cleanliness of the workstation and surrounding areas
Help put away deliveries as needed
Follow established safety regulations
Perform any other related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience as a dishwasher (an asset)
Good physical stamina for lifting and carrying items
MAPAQ certification (an asset)
Strong organizational skills
Positive attitude
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work independently
Ensure that hygiene and sanitation programs are followed
Ability to meet operational needs
The successful candidate for this position must complete a criminal background check and, when required, a vulnerable sector check. Employment with Aramark is conditional upon results deemed satisfactory by the company. Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
