Warehouse Associate – Calgary

This location does not have access to public transportation. Reliable transportation to and from the workplace is required.

Position Overview

We are hiring a Warehouse Associate for a full-time position at a Calgary terminal. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced freight and warehouse environment, supporting the safe and efficient loading, unloading, sorting, and movement of freight.

Key Responsibilities

- Count and inspect incoming and outgoing freight for damages, shortages, and discrepancies.
- Strip trailers and stage freight in designated warehouse areas.
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
- Move and handle freight according to company procedures to minimize damage and freight claims.
- Optimize loading and unloading processes to maintain productivity.
- Review Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping manifests, and related documentation.
- Sort and organize freight accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dock and warehouse area.
- Operate pallet jacks and hand dollies as required.
- Follow all company safety procedures and protocols.
- Perform other warehouse duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of forklift experience required.
- Previous warehouse or freight-handling experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read, sort, and understand shipping manifests.
- Good judgment when assessing weights,



distances, and heights.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative during downtime.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Versatile and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must follow all workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures depending on the season.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs from shoulder to floor.
- Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
- Must be available to work alternating evenings and weekends.
- Reliable transportation is required as public transportation is not available at this location.

Work Schedule – 2-Week Rotation

Week 1

- Monday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Wednesday: OFF
- Thursday: OFF
- Friday: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Sunday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Week 2

- Monday: OFF
- Tuesday: OFF
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 12:30 PM
- Saturday: OFF
- Sunday: OFF

Schedule repeats every 2 weeks.
