Become a vital member of the Animal Emergency Clinic of Fraser Valley as a Registered Veterinary Technician in surgery. Full time position available in Langley, BC focusing on patient care during operations.

As a Surgery RVT at AECFV, contribute to high-quality surgical outcomes by ensuring thorough pre-surgical evaluations and effective anesthesia management. This role involves working collaboratively with veterinarians in a leading emergency clinic, maintaining equipment, and providing supportive care to both patients and clients after surgeries. Your expertise will be central to cultivating a positive hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough pre-surgical examinations for animals
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patient responses closely




• Sterilize surgical instruments and keep the suite ready
• Document all procedures and patient care accurately
• Mentor new team members and interns

Requirements:
• Qualified Registered Veterinary Technologist with relevant experience
• Proficient in anesthesia and surgical techniques
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Commitment to continuous learning in veterinary care
• Physically capable of lifting and standing for long periods
