Lead resident care initiatives as a Coordinator at AgeCare, where our focus is on health and well-being. This role empowers you to shape the quality of care in a supportive long-term care setting.
As a Resident Care Coordinator, you will report to the Executive Director or Director of Care, ensuring compliance with provincial guidelines and delivery of top-notch resident care. Your responsibilities include supporting care staff, supervising admissions, and maintaining a person-centered approach. You'll play a crucial role in promoting AgeCare’s core values while ensuring resident dignity and rights are upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support implementation of resident care services
• Oversee admission processes and bed occupancy
• Review and action incident reports promptly
• Schedule Annual Care Conferences for residents
• Communicate emerging care issues to management
Requirements:
• Minimum HCA Provincial Certification
• Proficient in English, orally and in writing
• At least 5 years in a care setting
• Robust leadership and supervisory skills
• Experience with dementia patients is essential
