Join Family Day as a dedicated ECE Teacher in North York, ensuring high-quality care and learning for children 0-12 years. Work part-time and engage with diverse family backgrounds.
In this Permanent Part Time position as a Registered Early Childhood Educator (R.E.C.E.), you'll create an enriching educational environment using the High/Scope® approach. Develop programs tailored to children's interests and needs, conduct assessments, and engage with families for holistic development. Adhere to regulations set by the Child Care and Early Years Act throughout your work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement curriculum aligned with children's interests
• Assess children's developmental progress regularly
• Provide support for special needs assessments with families
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff
• Cultivate independence in daily routines for children
Requirements:
• Early Childhood Education Degree or Diploma required
• Must be a registered member in positive standing
• Minimum of 2 years in childcare preferred
• Current medical clearance, including TB
• Ability to work flexible shifts between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
