In this role within our Cyber Defense organization, you will be critical in identifying security flaws in our applications and APIs. Your experience working alongside developers to secure design and implementation, along with your technical acumen in areas like REST API testing and threat modeling, will empower Suncor to achieve robust security standards as you participate in red and purple team engagements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and conduct penetration tests focused on applications and APIs
• Create proof-of-concept exploits that do not disrupt operations




• Evaluate authentication solutions like OAuth 2.0
• Lead secure design reviews to promote safe development practices
• Partner with developers to address security findings

Requirements:
• Minimum of 7 years in cybersecurity, with 5 years in web application testing
• Degree in cybersecurity, IT, or computer science
• Hands-on with Burp Suite and secure code review
• Solid grasp of DevSecOps and SDLC processes
• Proven ability to communicate risks effectively
