Empower Simcoe is hiring a Full time Developmental Support Worker III for group homes in Barrie. This is a chance to support individuals with intellectual disabilities and enhance their daily lives.

As a Support Worker, you will engage in personal care, meal preparation, and assist residents with daily routines. This position involves working up to 75 hours biweekly and offers a supportive, inclusive environment. Candidates are expected to have reliable transportation and a valid class "G" driver’s license while being open to flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with personal care and household tasks
• Prepare meals and manage daily living activities




• Support clients in attending community events and appointments
• Ensure financial tracking for residents' needs
• Join team meetings and training sessions as required

Requirements:
• A Developmental Service Worker diploma or similar qualification
• At least 6 months of direct experience in the field
• Prepared to work weekends and holidays
• Valid class "G" driver’s license and reliable transport
• Commitment to a diverse and equitable workplace
