The Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education is looking for a Bus Driver to operate routes for various schools in Pictou West. To be eligible, candidates must possess a valid Class 2B driver’s license with Air Certification, as well as a minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent. This is a supportive role, focusing on safety and efficiency in transporting students to school and other events.

Key Responsibilities:
• Transport students safely along designated routes
• Maintain accurate records of student transportation
• Complete mandatory Driver Training Program




• Assist with route planning and bus maintenance
• Service communication with parents and school officials

Requirements:
• Class 2B driver’s license with Air Certification
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to complete Driver Training Program
• Satisfactory Driver Abstract from motor vehicle records
• Compliance with Child Abuse Registry and Criminal Records Check
