Reporting to the Mill Manager, this position requires a robust background in mechanical engineering, preferably with a Bachelor of Applied Science. The Fixed Plant Reliability Engineer will lead RAM studies, oversee condition monitoring programs, and implement improvements for asset management. Your expertise will shape the future of our operations, optimizing reliability while ensuring safety and efficiency at the site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) studies
• Develop strategies for mill commissioning and ramp-up
• Implement condition monitoring for critical equipment
• Analyze equipment failures using RCA processes
• Drive improvement initiatives for better performance
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation preferred
• Experience with FMEA, RCM, RCA, and maintenance strategies
• Strong communication skills across teams
• Commitment to safety and risk management
